Family Photoshoot Day On Navarre Beach

We have been wanting to have a family portrait done for quite awhile. We talked about doing beach pictures. So I got on line and got some good ideas on different positions. That really helped.

We waited for an overcast day so we didn't have the problem with it being to bright. We also went out and bought new clothes for the shot.

In order to have a nice beach with dunes and a nice background we drove out to the island in Navarre and headed toward Pensacola. We stopped at one of the parks on that road and had to walk about 1/4 mile to find a good spot.

Wouldn't you know that no sooner then we got there the sun came out. The first several shots everyone was squinting. Then some clouds rolled in and we had a small window between to sunny and rain to get our pictures but we pulled it off. I learned some things and we do want to try it again, when it cools down a little. All in all it was good quality family time together.
